"100 State Street Associates LLC" has plans to build a five-story, 62-unit structure with the deck on the first floor, Councilman Mark Schwartz told Daily Voice.

There is currently a two-story office building and a vacant lot on the site.

Schwartz, for one, likes the blueprint.

"That area is already surrounded by older multi-family housing units," he said. "With this plan, we can add some modern housing to that zone."

The township Board of Adjustment will vote on the variance within 60 days, Schwartz said.
